Incorporating a Principles Approach to RIM

RIM is typically viewed as boring and the responsibility of a small group of people (records managers). Our organization developed The Principles into a pattern that reflects organizational values, and are accessible to all employees. We created a number of animated videos to train employees. I will teach participants how to convert The Principles into an accessible format for employees. I will share our marketing materials, and provide concepts for reaching an often disinterested audience.

During this presentation, Howard will discuss BYU’s approach to implementing governance, as well as share their challenges and lessons learned.
