We had such a great response earlier this year to our service activity helping Ogden sort their old records! But as the weather was bad we had several people who were unable to make it, so we decided to hold a second session! It’s a win-win situation: we get to sort through cool old records, and Ogden gets help putting their old records in order! Many hands make light work, so we hope that you will join us as we help Ogden City with their big records project.
When: Thursday, April 17, 2025; 11:30am -1pm
Where: Utah State Records Center (Building C-6, 5th Street and C Street, Clearfield, UT map)
How to get there:
1- Exit the freeway (I-15) at Antelope Drive and go west.
2- You’ll pass the Freeport Center on the right, then the Clearfield Job Corps Center.
3- After the storage units with red doors (on the right), turn right onto 300 West.
4- Turn right onto C Street (after the Freeport West directory sign).
5- Continue through the gate until you see a gold and blue building that says “State of Utah / Utah State Archives and Records Service / State Records Center.” Turn right before the building.
6- Follow the arrows to park along the building. There’s construction but the entrance is clearly marked.
