For our last chapter presentation of the year, we are pleased to have Joe Hadfield from BYU’s Office of IT. He will be talking to us about decommissioning software. We will learn about what he has undertaken as he puts these old systems to rest.
Who is Joe Hadfield? Joe is a Senior Product Manager at BYU. He has been given the pseudonym of the “Application Undertaker” as he is in charge of the retirement of technological systems at BYU. Once you’ve filled out the Google form for parking, you will be able to park in any A or Y lot on campus on the day of the event. If you forget to register for parking there are 4 visitor parking spots at the ITB on a first come first serve basis. You can also use Frontrunner and the UVX to get here but it will require walking from the closest UVX station to the ITB.

Over the last year, she has been integral in the implementation of a new Corporate RIM program. She is leading the efforts to help ensure that not only are Autoliv’s records managed properly and consistently, but so is their information throughout its lifecycle.
